11 months old

Ariana is 11 months old! This month will be a month of reflection, sentiments, and emotions. She is getting so big and accomplishing so much it's making our heads spin!

We took her to the park the day before her 11 month "birthday" since that's when Marty was off. She still isn't too fond of the swings. In fact, I could say that she's downright afraid of them. She braces herself on the chains and her whole body tenses up and shudders. We'll try again another time when she's a bit older and see how she does. She LOVED the slide, though! She got to go down once with Daddy, once with Mommy, and once by herself! Don't worry, I was at the top and held her under her armpits until about 1/4 of the way down, and Marty was kneeling at the bottom reaching about 1/4 of the way up. We didn't just toss her down it! There was a rocking horse type teeter totter that she went bananas for. Of course we should've known- it's a horsey! She was trying to rock and bounce it on her own within seconds of Marty sitting her on it! Most of all, she loved getting to walk around and play with the other kids. She sqeals and grunts at them trying to engage them in play and it melt our hearts!
